TPHS Boys Falcons started the season with a 3-1 record at the Bronco Invitational. Despite foregoing a 5-goal lead against District rivals SDA, who narrowly edged the Falcons 11-10, Torrey outpaced their remaining opponents aggregate 39-10. Torrey rebounded from their initial setback with dominating wins against Ramona (19-2) and Santa Fe Christian (13-4) and closed out with a solid performance against Patrick Henry (7-4). James Freedman '20 and Barrett Goldman '21 led scoring with 15 and 10 goals, respectively, with assist leader Ryan Knutzen '20 setting up 9 scores. Ryan Schlesier '20 and Augie Breeze '22 combined for 29 steals, while Freedman drew 8 exclusions.
