Joining Varsity Head Coach Brandon Carman are two deeply experienced local water polo coaches. Orange County native Joseph Andranian joins the coaching staff to lead the Junior Varsity effort, while Bishops and Stanford standout Zack LaGrange debuts as Assistant to Coaches Carman and Andranian. Coach Andranian's playing and coaching experience derives from a decades-long association with the sport. Having played at the highest level in Southern California high school (Newport) and coached recently with North County club Carlsbad, Mr. Andranian will take primary responsibility for skill development with the Falcon's younger roster. Coach LaGrange brings a depth and experience that's unusual for a young coach. After leading Bishops School scoring with 93 goals in his senior season and playing in three state finals, Coach LaGrange headed to Europe to play for Club Natacio Rubi in Barcelona before matriculating at Stanford University. At Stanford, Coach LaGrange brought home an NCAA championship, two MPSF championships, and multiple All Academic honors. He graduated with a BS and MS in Biology. |
