 TPHS Falcons made an impressive debut at the August 23-25th Bronco Invitational Tournament. During early round play on Thursday, Torrey logged an 8-6 win over Point Loma HS, followed by an 11-10 win in overtime against Granite Hills. Poway HS took a game from the Falcons Friday (8-3), knocking Torrey out of contention for a championship. The Falcons went on to beat Westview HS (8-7) and advance to play Steele Canyon, who managed to hold off the Falcon offense and grab an 8-7 victory.
